Haifa to Ashdod or Ashdod to Haifa

Driving from Haifa you will go first to Nazareth where you will visit the Church of the Annunciation and from here you’ll go to Cana From here you will head next to Mt. of Beatitudes and Capernaum. You’ll visit the Baptismal Site on the Jordan River and go from there through the Jordan Valley, passing by Jericho on the way to Jerusalem. Once in Israel’s beautiful capitol city you will drive to one of the panoramic viewpoints (either Mt. of Olives or Mt. Scopus) and then you’ll head to your hotel where you’ll check in and spend the night. After a good night’s sleep, you will check out of your hotel and begin your second full day tour, beginning with a tour of the Old City of Jerusalem beginning with Mt. Zion, then on to the Jewish Quarter (the Cardo, the Western Wall), the Christian Quarter (the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre), the Arab Quarter (with its terrific markets) and Jaffa Gate. Then you’ll go on a driving sightseeing tour of the modern western side of the city, seeing during this part of your tour Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum; then you’ll head out of Jerusalem to Ashdod.
This price includes your two days of guiding and transportation and all entrance fees. Hotel accomodations for the group and the staff, meals, personal expenses, travel insurance and a tip to your guide are not included in this price.

ADDITIONAL OPTION


You will drive from Haifa to Jerusalem where you will tour the highlights of the city by car and then you will take a walking sightseeing tour of the Old City, beginning with the Christian Quarter where you will walk the Via Dolorosa and see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, then on to the Jewish Quarter where you will see the Cardo, the beautiful shops and the Western Wall and finally the Muslim Quarter where you will stroll the fantastic markets. After the Old City, you will go on to either the Israel Museum or to Yad Vashem and then you will go to your hotel for the evening. In the morning the next day you will drive to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and then on to Ein Gedi Nature Reserve for a hike and maybe for a “float” on the waters of the Dead Sea and from there to Masada where you will take a cable car to the summit and tour the 2,000 year old Roman ruins. After seeing Masada, you will go to the port to meet your ship.
This price includes your guiding and transportation for both days. Entrance fees are $79 per person and can be paid by members of the group as you tour OR you can pay this fee to Avitours and we will prepay your sites for you so that your guide will pay your entrance fees at each site. Hotel accomodations for your group and your staff, meals, personal expenses, travel insurance and a tip to your guide are not included in this fee.
